Mental Computation Challenge Competition for Tutong II school areas

SR Benutan hosted the Mental Computation Challenge Competition for all Tutong II school areas. Present at the competition are not only headmasters and headmistresses from Tutong II schools but also the guest of honour, PPKDT2, Cikgu Abdul Kani.

Year 1 pupil of SR Bukit Udal who won the competition by getting 29 questions out of 30 questions correct. Well done :)

NETBALL TOURNAMENT QUARTER FINALS

Today is the quarter finals for the netball tournament amongst schools in Tutong II areas. The tournament are getting more and more exciting.


SR Rambai won again by 5-1 against SR PKN Bukit Beruang during the first match



SR Benutan defeated SR Kampong Bukit with the score 9-6



Our school, SR Bukit Udal won again this afternoon by 10-0 against SR Danau





SR Panchong loses two points to SR DPS Ukong with the final score 4-6 in a close encounter match



Well done to the teams who made it to the semi-finals! ;)


The semi-finals and final match will be on Monday(11th May, 2009) in the afternoon with:

SR Rambai - SR Benutan

SR Bukit Udal - SR DPS Ukong

Guess who will be the champion? Don't guess, come and join us at Sports Complex Tutong on the 11th May :)

 

WASHING HANDS

Our school conduct a talk for all levels from kindergarten to Year 6 pupils about washing hands in the right way. The aims are to prevent any diseases and infections such as HFMD and the latest deadly virus, swine flu.

Not only this is a theory, we make it a practical as well. Ckg Noriah and Ckg Rosnitah show pupils how to wash hands in the right way


Now, its the pupils turn to show their skills :)

NETBALL TOURNAMENT FOR TUTONG II SCHOOL AREAS

The netball tournament amongst schools in Tutong II areas begins this afternoon at the Sports Complex Tutong.

The pictures below shows the headmaster, Cikgu Mohamad Bin Hj Mohamad Sa'at and the teachers of SR Bukit Udal as well give supports to the school team
The first match is between SR Benutan and SR Layong where SR Benutan beat SR Layong
by 11-1
The second match is between SR Tumpuan Telisai and SR Rambai where SR Rambai win 4 points over SR Tumpuan Telisai with the final score of 7-3
The third match is between our school, SR Bukit Udal and SR Penapar. SR Penapar was defeated 1-8 by SR Bukit Udal. Well done to the school team!




The last match of the day, SR Panchong smashed SR Lubok Pulau by 7-0

Well done to all the schools! :)

 

Workshop on Teaching and Learning Social Studies for Year 4 teachers throughout the country

Teachers from Belait District and Tutong District both attended this 3 days workshop organised by Jabatan Perkembangan Kurikulum at SR Tumpuan Telisai, Tutong II

Ceramah Pendidikan Pencegahan Dadah for SR Daerah Tutong by Biro Kawalan Narkotik

The pupils from our school, together with pupils from SR Lubok Pulau was given the chance to hear a talk about Pendidikan Pencegahan Dadah di Sekolah Rendah Daerah Tutong which is conducted by officers from Biro Kawalan Narkotik



The pupils wrote down some notes about the negative consequences about drugs as the talk goes along


At the end of the talk,there was a questions and answering sessions. Correct answer will be given a prize :)


Make a slogan time!

The officers from Biro Kawalan Narkotik showed the pupils the prize which will be give to the top 3 pupils with the most creative slogan.


Pupils from both schools were thinking of what to write for their slogan. Lets see who are the top 3 winners!


While waiting for the most creative slogan to be annouced, guess what the pupils will be doing?

It's a little exercise time! All the pupils enjoyed it so much.
